Privacy policy

We collect very little. This policy covers what we collect, why, and who handles it.

Last updated 14 October 2026.

Who we are

webSattire is a studio of Astra Age. Astra Age is the data controller for this website. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@websattire.com.

What we collect

  • When you request a teardown or send a partner enquiry: your name, email address, store or agency web address, and anything else you choose to tell us, such as platform, markets, role or a message.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider processes standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver the site securely, and checks form submissions for automated bots. We also use your IP address briefly to stop repeated form submissions; it isn't stored with your enquiry.
  • Analytics: we use Umami to see which pages and sections people visit and how they move through the site. It uses no cookies, doesn't store your IP address and can't identify you. The data is held on Umami's EU servers.
  • Cookies: this site doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, and to record and send your teardown.
  • To send you one confirmation email when you submit a form.
  • To follow up, but only if you ask us to.

We don't add you to a mailing list, we don't sell your data, and we only share it with the service providers listed below.

Our legal basis

Under the UK and EU GDPR we rely on legitimate interests (replying to an enquiry you started) and, where you ask for a teardown or a quote, on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Our analytics rely on legitimate interests too: understanding, in aggregate, how the site is used.

Who processes it for us

  • Vercel, which hosts the website, processes server logs and runs the bot check on our forms. It is based in the United States.
  • Resend, which delivers the emails this site sends. It is based in the United States.
  • Zoho Mail, where enquiries and replies are received.
  • Umami, which provides our cookieless analytics, with data held in the EU.

Where data is transferred outside the UK or the European Economic Area, it's protected by the provider's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. Client records are kept for as long as the work and our legal and tax obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of it. Email hello@websattire.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're in California, the same applies under the CCPA, and we don't sell or share personal information.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to your data protection authority: the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, your national authority in the EU, or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in Australia.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
